2-compartment XPS sealable tray with a capacity of 1,250 ml

The white XPS sealable tray with a 1,250 ml capacity is divided into two sections and is suitable for meals where the main course and side dish are to be served separately. With dimensions of 265 × 247 × 40 mm, it offers ample space for complete meal portions.

The tray is made of XPS (extruded polystyrene) and features a laminated finish. It is designed specifically for cafeterias, institutional kitchens, catering companies, meal delivery services, and institutional food service.

2-compartment design for main course and side dish

The fixed divider allows two food components to be arranged separately within a single tray. For example, a main course and a side dish can be packaged together without using a continuous inner surface.

With a total volume of 1,250 ml, this version is suitable for larger meal portions and clearly differs from the more compact or 3-compartment XPS trays in the same series.

XPS for suitable food applications

The tray is made of extruded polystyrene (XPS) and is intended for contact with dry, aqueous, acidic, fatty, and alcoholic foods.

For the intended use, a maximum temperature of 90 °C applies for no more than 50 minutes. The tray is not intended for use at temperatures below 0 °C, as the material may become brittle and break under stress.

The tray is not intended for use in microwaves, conventional ovens, or infrared ovens.

Sealable with suitable sealing film

The XPS tray can be sealed with a film that is compatible with the tray material and the sealing device used.

Suitable options include, for example, the IP245 transparent sealing film, 245 × 250 m – Item No. 192003, and the aluminum sealing film, 245 × 250 m – Item No. 192000.

The two-part XPS sealing tray is particularly suitable for cafeterias, commercial kitchens, catering businesses, meal delivery services, institutional food service, and meals on wheels when two food components need to be portioned separately.
