The white Food-Tainer 73, measuring 218 × 135 × 25 mm, is suitable for packaging and displaying elongated, flat food portions. The larger base area provides space for correspondingly larger items and is particularly well-suited for butcher shops, meat markets, fish counters, delicatessens, farm stands, and food retailers.

The tray is made of XPS (extruded polystyrene) and is supplied without an absorbent liner. It is therefore intended for applications where no integrated liquid absorption is required.

218 × 135 × 25 mm for flat and elongated retail units

With a length of 218 mm, a width of 135 mm, and a height of 25 mm, the Food-Tainer 73 offers more surface area than the 60 and 70 models in the series.

This size is suitable, for example, for cuts of meat, poultry, fish, sausages, cheese, deli meats, and other refrigerated foods, provided that the respective product-specific usage conditions are observed.

XPS tray without integrated absorbent liner

The Food-Tainer is made of XPS (extruded polystyrene). This version does not have an integrated absorbent liner and is therefore not absorbent.

If liquid needs to be absorbed in a particular application, a separately available, compatible absorbent liner can be used.

For refrigerated foods

The Food-Tainer is suitable for contact with dry, acidic, aqueous, and fatty foods.

For watery and fatty foods, it is intended for use at temperatures up to 20 °C for up to 30 days, as well as for long-term storage in the freezer. For acidic foods, product-specific usage conditions apply up to a maximum of 40 °C.

For butcher shops, fish counters, and delis

Thanks to its elongated shape, the tray is particularly well-suited for butcher shops, meat markets, fish markets, deli counters, supermarkets, farm stands, and other establishments offering refrigerated food products.
