HDPE flat bags, gusseted, 30 × 40 cm + 3 cm – 11 my

HDPE Flat Bags, 30 × 40 cm – Block-Cut for Commercial Fresh Food Sales

These transparent HDPE flat bags, measuring 30 × 40 cm, are ideal for neatly packaging wide portions of food. With a width of 30 cm, the bags offer ample space for appropriately sized items and, thanks to their block-style design, can be kept within easy reach at the point of sale. They are suitable for regular product dispensing in butcher shops, delicatessens, farm stands, and food retail stores.

The unprinted flat bags are made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) with a film thickness of 11 my (11 µm). Compared to the 13-my versions in the same product series, this is a thinner film variant. The transparent surface allows the contents to be seen directly.

30 cm bag width for various retail portions

The 30 cm wide bag opening makes it easy to insert appropriately sized items. Thanks to its 40 cm length, it can also accommodate larger, flat portions. Unlike gusseted bags, this design has no additional side gussets.

The HDPE flat bags can be used in various retail settings, depending on the specific contact conditions:

• Butcher shops and meat markets: Packaging appropriate portions of meat and sausage at the service counter.
• Delicatessens: Dispensing appropriately sized food portions.
• Specialty cheese shops: Packaging selected cheese products for customer pickup.
• Farm stores and direct sellers: Portioning loose food items in the sales area.
• Food retail: Providing transparent plastic bags for fresh food counters.

Food-Grade HDPE Film

The transparent HDPE flat bags are suitable for direct contact with food. For specific applications, the intended contact conditions—including food type, temperature, and duration of contact—must be taken into account.

When selecting the appropriate bag, the weight, dimensions, and nature of the contents should also be taken into account. The bags do not have an integrated closure.

Strung packaging bags for daily product dispensing

The additional 3-cm-wide strip allows the HDPE bags to be kept connected and removed individually as needed. This helps keep packaging materials organized at sales and workstations.

The packaging unit of 3,000 pieces is designed specifically for commercial businesses with regular demand for transparent flat bags.

Additional HDPE flat bags and packaging sizes

For longer items, the 30 × 50 cm HDPE flat bag variant with a thickness of 13 my offers an alternative with a longer bag length and greater film thickness.

For smaller retail portions, the 24 × 35 cm HDPE flat bags are available.
