The round PP cup with a 280 ml capacity offers more space than traditional single-serving cups, making it ideal for deli items, sauces, spreads, salads, and other packaged foods. With a diameter of 95 mm and a height of 61 mm, this transparent cup combines a compact base size with extra volume.

The packaging cup is made of polypropylene (PP) and is intended for contact with food. Thanks to its transparent design, the contents remain clearly visible—for example, at deli counters, in refrigerated display cases, at farm stands, or in self-service areas.

Tamper-evident closure with matching lid

This design is intended for use with a tamper-evident closure. When used with the matching lid, it is possible to tell whether the package has already been opened. This is particularly helpful for pre-packaged deli items or pre-portioned foods on the sales floor.

The lid is not included. The PP lid, item no. 48951, is intended for use with this cup. When used with the matching lid, the cup can be sealed to be liquid- and airtight.

Suitable for a variety of foods

The PP cup is designed for various types of food. These include, among others, dry, watery, acidic, dairy-based, and fatty foods, as well as foods containing alcohol, within the specified conditions of use.

The material is also suitable for applications involving higher temperatures. It is designed for hot filling at temperatures between 85 and 95 °C. For brief heating in the microwave, the cup-and-lid system is rated for up to 100 °C for a maximum of 15 minutes.
