This makes it particularly suitable for small and medium-sized portions of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, and clearly distinguishes it from the larger sleeve designed for 90-mm-diameter cups and 0.3- or 0.4-liter sizes.

Additional grip area for hot beverages

The corrugated cardboard sleeve creates an additional layer between the hand and the hot outer wall of the beverage cup. This makes the cup more comfortable to hold, especially when it contains freshly poured hot beverages.

The conical shape allows the sleeve to be slipped over a compatible cup from the bottom and used there while the drink is being served.
