Sustainability at Nette GmbH
The global challenges of this time (e.g. pandemics, war, climate change, scarcity of resources, demographic change) are also having an increasing impact on companies and the course of business. As Managing Director of Nette GmbH, I am convinced that sustainable action and management in this context is a forward-looking topic that we are already addressing today.
For us as a company, doing business sustainably means using resources responsibly and pooling them sensibly wherever possible. This means taking one step at a time, setting priorities and still keeping an eye on all three areas of sustainability.

Ecological sustainability
We have already taken the first steps towards ecological sustainability: With our "NETTE natürlich" line, we now offer more than 1,000 environmentally friendly alternative packaging solutions and are constantly expanding this product range. We have newly developed our circ product range - a sustainable reusable system made of PP mono-material with over 60 different products, unique in Europe.
Unsere Werte & unsere Verantwortung
Respecting human rights, protecting the environment and conserving natural resources are essential for Nette GmbH. We joined the UN Global Compact in October 2023 and are committed to monitoring and enforcing these principles in our supply chain. We have also set out our values and our understanding of corporate responsibility in a code of conduct for employees. We also obtain written confirmation of compliance with these ethical and social standards for our value chain in ourCode of Conductfor suppliers and business partners.
3rd place in the official EcoVadis rating
In February 2024, Nette GmbH received the bronze medal from EcoVadis for the first time, achieving third place in the official EcoVadis assessment. The evaluation was based on sustainability performance in the four areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Nette GmbH's results exceeded the industry average for wholesalers without a pronounced focus in all four areas.
